Excited to Share Our Passion for Serving the Community
The longest career role I have held is Co-Founder. My parents, husband, and I founded The Meeting Place on Market, a coffee shop and cafe, in 2003. Today, I serve as CEO for the company.
We were so excited to be highlighted this year as a finalist in the US Chamber of Commerce Dream Big Awards. Check out our video for the awards ceremony, and support small business in your community!

What our business does is create custom gift boxes for our clients. Our mission statement is connecting people with unique gifts coffee and experiences and we also have a coffee shop and bakery. Over time, we've hosted hundreds of artists. We have a gallery wall where we feature local artists. We also have an internship program where we partner with the local high school to bring in high school interns during the school day. We have an agreement with Crime Victim Services for a workforce development program to help those people who would be a good fit and need a job to help work with us in our bakery. And lastly, we strive to purchase from local makers whenever we can.
